Work carried out
Goals: Updating and customizing the existing site, adding a private section for the family.
Context and challenges:
The Le Court de Beru family wanted to modernize their existing site to better reflect their family activities and strengthen the bond between members through a dedicated digital platform. The online presence needed to be both public, to present the family, and private, to share exclusive moments and information.
Strategy and solutions:
Starting from a foundation built with the Divi theme for WordPress, I approached this project from two angles: improving the user experience for the site's public side, and creating a secure private area.
- Visual redesign:
- Modernizing the interface for intuitive navigation.
- Aligning the graphic elements with the family's identity.
- Responsive optimization to ensure smooth browsing on every device.
- Private area:
- Building a private section accessible only to family members via secure logins.
- Integrating a blog feature to make it easy to share articles, photos and important moments.
- Custom features:
- Setting up content management systems to make regular updates easy for the family.
- Securing the private section with robust access protocols to protect privacy.
Result:
Lecourtdeberu.fr became an online meeting place for the family, where they can showcase their activities and projects while also keeping a digital record of their history and exchanges. Combining an elegant public interface with a private section created a unique digital experience for the Le Court de Beru family.
Conclusion:
The Lecourtdeberu.fr redesign shows how a website can be adapted to a family's communication and sharing needs while remaining easy to use and private. It's a great example of how digital technology can bring people closer together, regardless of distance.
