Expert Habitat Thailand: a Wix site for real estate

Building a Wix site for Expert Habitat Thailand, tailored to the Thai property market.

Project details

Work carried out

Context

Expert Habitat Thailand runs an independent property inspection business for buyers of villas, apartments and other properties in Thailand.

The project builds on the expertise Expert Habitat already developed in building surveys and technical inspection. This experience is a genuine differentiator in a market where buyers, especially foreign ones, need reassurance before finalizing a property investment.

The site already existed on Wix, but its presentation, copy and structure needed to be adapted to a Thailand-focused positioning and the expectations of an international clientele.

Starting need

The need wasn't to start from scratch, but to take over an existing site and make it more consistent, more professional and better suited to the target market.

Several points needed rework:

  • immediately clarify the nature of the service offered;
  • better highlight the independence of the inspection;
  • showcase Expert Habitat's technical expertise;
  • reassure buyers before a property purchase;
  • adapt the copy for an international clientele;
  • structure the areas covered;
  • improve the calls to action;
  • prepare the site for a lasting SEO and editorial strategy.

The main challenge was to turn the site into a genuine sales and trust-building tool, rather than a simple descriptive showcase.

Work carried out

Visual redesign of the Wix site

The existing visual identity was reworked to strengthen the service's credibility and professional positioning.

The new art direction rests on:

  • a dark, upscale interface;
  • a strong contrast between black, white and the brand's orange;
  • a more immersive presentation from the hero section onward;
  • a contemporary architecture image suited to the Thai property market;
  • more visible headings;
  • clearly identifiable calls to action;
  • a more direct visual hierarchy.

The homepage now immediately presents the business, the area covered and the core promise: securing a property purchase through an independent inspection.

Rewriting the copy

The copy was entirely rewritten to better match the target market and the concerns of prospective buyers.

The content now places more emphasis on:

  • pre-purchase inspection;
  • the technical assessment of a property;
  • protecting the investment;
  • the inspector's independence;
  • the areas covered in Thailand;
  • the experience and know-how carried over from Expert Habitat.

The tone was adapted for an international clientele, with more direct, more reassuring wording geared toward helping visitors decide.

Restructuring the homepage

The site's structure was reworked to guide users more effectively.

The homepage now organizes information across several reading levels:

  • immediate presentation of the service;
  • geographic areas covered;
  • benefits of an independent inspection;
  • explanation of the method;
  • showcase of the expertise;
  • access to a sample report;
  • inspection request;
  • blog content and answers to frequently asked questions.

This organization lets a visitor quickly understand the service, then dig deeper progressively based on their level of interest.

Optimizing calls to action

The buttons were reworked to make actions more explicit.

The two main goals are now clearly visible:

  • request an inspection;
  • view a sample report.

This dual entry point serves two different levels of intent: the prospect ready to get in touch, and the one who first wants to assess the quality of the service.

Adapting to the Thai market

The content was designed to address the specific concerns of property buyers in Thailand.

The main service areas are clearly highlighted:

  • Koh Samui;
  • Koh Phangan;
  • Phuket;
  • Krabi;
  • Bangkok.

The site also adopts a positioning suited to investors, expats and foreign buyers who want an independent technical opinion before committing.

Setting up a blogging strategy

The project also includes editorial work aimed at growing the site's visibility over time.

The blog content covers topics related to:

  • property inspection in Thailand;
  • checks to run before a purchase;
  • common defects in villas and condominiums;
  • technical risks tied to moisture, roofing, electrical systems or structure;
  • advice before investing in Phuket, Koh Samui or Bangkok;
  • understanding an inspection report;
  • the difference between an independent inspection and a simple property viewing.

The goal is to answer buyers' genuine questions while progressively growing the site's organic search performance.

SEO tailored to the target market

SEO was built around precise, commercially relevant search intents.

The strategy notably relies on:

  • terms related to property inspection in Thailand;
  • geo-targeted pages or content;
  • more explicit titles;
  • a better content hierarchy;
  • internal linking between services and articles;
  • semantic wording adapted to the vocabulary used by foreign buyers;
  • English-language content geared toward the main property hotspots.

The goal isn't just to generate traffic, but to attract visitors genuinely interested in a property purchase project.

Design choices

Keeping Wix to build on what already existed

The choice was made to keep the Wix environment rather than immediately rebuilding the site on another technology.

This approach makes it possible to:

  • preserve what already existed;
  • limit development costs;
  • speed up launch;
  • make future updates easier;
  • focus effort on presentation, content and SEO.

The redesign was therefore approached as a complete improvement of the existing site, without unnecessary technical change.

Putting expertise at the center of the message

The site needed to avoid an overly generic presentation of property inspection.

One of the main choices was to put Expert Habitat's experience back at the heart of the message. The site doesn't just present a service, but technical expertise applied to the Thai property context.

This approach strengthens the service's credibility and helps reassure buyers about the quality of the assessment on offer.

Creating a more premium identity

The target market often involves significant investments: villas, second homes, condominiums or rental properties.

The interface was therefore designed to reflect a professional, premium level of service, without an excessively luxurious or artificial tone.

The result rests on a sober, technical, reassuring presentation.

Combining immediate conversion with long-term visibility

The project combines two complementary goals.

In the short term, the site needs to make inspection requests easy. In the longer term, the blog and SEO need to strengthen the brand's visibility on targeted searches.

This logic lets the site play both a commercial and an editorial role.

Result

Expert Habitat Thailand now has a site more consistent with its business, its level of expertise and the property market it serves.

The redesign delivers:

  • a more professional image;
  • a value proposition that's immediately understandable;
  • better visibility for the independent inspection service;
  • copy adapted for an international clientele;
  • clearer navigation and structure;
  • more effective calls to action;
  • a solid editorial foundation for blogging;
  • an SEO strategy tailored to the areas and searches being targeted.

The project also extends Expert Habitat's expertise into a new territory, while keeping strong consistency between the technical know-how and the online communication.
