A year of UX/UI support built on Figma
In 2025, JD Création Web supported Futuring Lab, an innovation lab specialized in foresight, in designing and improving several application interfaces.
Throughout the year, I worked on Figma prototypes meant to test, refine and structure various key features of their digital tools.
Mission goals
The collaboration with Futuring Lab aimed to:
- Design clear, consistent, easy-to-use interfaces
- Quickly test ideas and navigation logic
- Improve the user experience across a set of internal modules
- Prepare functional mockups for demonstrations and validation
- Ensure a solid foundation for future technical integration
The main challenge: prototype fast, prototype well, and iterate frequently based on the lab's needs.
A focus on Figma and interactions
Throughout the year, I built several interactive Figma prototypes, notably for:
- home and login screens
- themed dashboards
- modules focused on creativity, analysis and decision-making
- individual and collective contribution interfaces
- workflows designed to streamline overall use of the tool
The goal was always to produce realistic mockups, testable like real applications.
Thanks to Figma's auto-layout, components, variants and advanced interactions, each prototype could evolve quickly based on the team's feedback.
A continuously improving collaboration
Since Futuring Lab operates in an innovation-driven rhythm, we worked in:
- short cycles
- regular testing
- successive improvements
- features added as needs arose
This iterative approach made it possible to adjust designs in real time, clarify user journeys, and anticipate technical constraints even before the development phase.
Results
This year of prototyping made it possible to:
align the interfaces' art direction; improve understanding of key modules; streamline navigation and interactions; provide a stable foundation for turning the prototypes into a functional application; quickly validate concepts before development.
The prototypes played an essential role in shaping Futuring Lab's future digital product.
Conclusion
Through regular collaboration and advanced use of Figma, JD Création Web helped create modern, consistent interfaces ready to be developed.
This prototyping work let Futuring Lab clarify its vision, test its features, and effectively plan out the design of its innovation tools.
